The short answer: more often than you think is perfectly fine. There is no magic number, but there is a rhythm that suits most people. Here we go through how to find yours.
A couple of times a week is a good start
Studies of regular sauna bathers often point to two to four sessions a week as a level where many people notice a clear effect on recovery and wellbeing. But it is not a requirement. If you sauna once a week and feel good for it, that is your rhythm. The point is to make it something you look forward to, not a chore.
How long a session should be
A typical session is somewhere between 15 and 45 minutes in the heat itself, split into several rounds with breaks and, ideally, a cold plunge in between. With us you book time in blocks of 60 or 120 minutes, which leaves plenty of room to move between heat and water at your own pace without rushing.
Listen to your body
The basic rule is simple: leave the heat when you start to feel uncomfortable, drink water, and never push yourself. If it feels good, you can sauna often. If you feel dizzy, tired or dehydrated, that is your body telling you it is enough for today. Over time you learn where your limit is.
Because our saunas are self-service and open every day from 06:00 to 23:00, it is easy to build the sauna into your week, whether you want an early morning or a late evening.
